'Tuyo', a Tagalog word meaning 'dry', is a kind of salted dried fish, usually herring. It has a pungent smell especially while being cooked, which is normally fried in oil. In the Philippines, it is typically sold in plastic packs in wet markets without any sauce and viewed as the food of the less fortunate. The client wanted to bring this delicacy in a more upscale market, hence the new packaging design.
